This little village is the home of the actual paper making manufacture. The local staff not only produces this beautiful handcrafted paper, but readily and happily provides a guided demonstration of various phases of the paper making process. Additionally anybody and everybody is welcome to purchase the locally made paper products. Our new service: After prior arrangements our art camp offers an outstanding village setting to visiting artists for creative artwork in a quiet environment. At request our artist-guests can make their own paper with their own hands. Directions from Budapest: On route M3 (highway) take the exit at the town of Hatvan. At the and of the ramp take a left turn and merge into route 21 toward Salgótarján. At the town of Bátonyterenye merge slightly right into route 23. When you reach the village of Tarnalelesz a sign will direct you toward Fedémes. In Fedémes the Petõfi ut (street) is the village's main road. The papermill is located on the left-hand side, approximately halfway through the village. The locals are very friendly and willingly help you to find the papermill in case you are lost.
